As we learn of the extreme devastation which occurred from the wildfires in East Tennessee, we all look for ways to help.
Approximately 17,000 acres and 2,500 structures in Sevier County have been damaged or destroyed due to the wildfires and many of our AIA members and longtime friends have been personally affected by this devastation. AIA Tennessee member and Memphis architect Jon Summers, AIA and his wife tragically lost their lives and their three sons are receiving treatment at Vanderbilt Hospital for injuries sustained while trying to escape the fires. Jon was a partner in the Memphis firm, brg3s. Please continue to pray those affected by the wildfires.
If you would like to help support the Summers family please make donations to The Summers Brothers Trust: 80 Monroe Avenue, Suite 650 Memphis, TN 38103.
If you to help support the other victims of the wildfires please consider donating to Dolly Parton’s My People Fund.
